Thousands of the city's residents took to the streets of the city today at 11am and stood with Israeli flags to pay their last respects to Shiri, Ariel and Kfir Bibas, who were laid to rest in the cemetery in Moshav Zohar.
Emotional memorial gatherings were held throughout the city. Participants carried Israeli flags and orange balloons, as a symbol of hope and a final tribute to Shiri, Ariel and Kfir Bibas, who were laid to rest today in Moshav Zohar in the Eshkol region.
Many schools in the city took an active part in the memorial activities.
Students participated in writing condolence cards and preparing signs with messages of support for the Bibas family.
The events ended with the singing of the national anthem, "Hatikvah".
Mayor Haim Bibas: "This is an unbearably difficult day. Our hearts are broken, along with all the residents of the city and the country. The Bibas family is an inseparable part of our community, and this loss is a loss for all of us."
