The city's education system offers a variety of fields of study - science and technology, arts and sports - even in elementary schools. The variety of pluralistic educational options that exist in the city allow students to choose the educational institution most suitable to them, thus enabling each student to reach his or her maximum potential.

The education system encourages innovation and integration of in-depth content in all activities.
It promotes unique programs, provides a continuum between formal and informal education, social programs such as personal responsibility, professional development of educational staff, optimizing a climate of tolerance, and preventing violence in schools - all with the co-operation and responsibility of the entire community - teaching staff, parents and students.

The Modiin Maccabim Reut education system attaches high importance not only to students receiving a high school diploma, but also enabling them to be responsible and upstanding citizens, committed to society and state.

In the 2019 academic year, there were 27,431 students in Modiin Maccabim , comprised of:
• 160 kindergartens (including preschools)
• 27 elementary schools of which 21 are state schools and 6 are religious state schools
• 13 high schools of which 9 are state schools and 4 are religious state schools
