Kupat Holim Clalit has been given approved to establish an MRI imaging system in the advanced medical center being built in the city center. The huge project will include an emergency medicine center, operating rooms, treatment rooms, and more.
The city continues to advance innovative health services. The machine, which is considered an expensive system, is a critical element in advanced medical services that the center will provide to the city's residents, and is unique in performing various non-invasive scans using magnetic resonance, and with a high level of accuracy.
The project to establish the center is currently amid construction. It is located in the city center and will cover an area of approximately 8,500 square meters with a 5-storey building. Its construction is expected to be completed in 2026.
In addition, about a month ago, the National Planning and Building Council submitted for government approval the national outline plan for health institutions, which includes the establishment of a hospital in the city of Modi'in Maccabim Re'ut.
This is significant news in realizing the city's vision to invest resources in the field of health, advanced and innovative medicine, and essential services for residents, close to home. According to the plan, the hospital will be built near the technology park, which will be the future city center. This constitutes part of a large-scale comprehensive outline plan for the coming decades, which includes the establishment of thousands of housing units, business and commercial centers, an academic center, a third train station, and more.
