On Sunday, 9.2.25, a conference will be held for city residents who are scheduled to be discharged from regular and permanent service in the first half of 2025. The conference will be held at Heichal HaTarbut, is free of charge with advance registration.
Managed by the Youth Department in the Society, Youth and Young People's Division at the municipality and in cooperation with the IDF and the "Sha’ar L ‘Atid" unit in the Planning and Personnel Management Division.
The event is intended for those discharged from regular and permanent service in the first half of 2025. Invitations will be sent via "Sha’ar La'Atid", via SMS messages. Entry is freee. or advance registration click here
This is the second time that the fair has been held in Heichal Hatarbut, and the last time it was a great success. As part of the event, there will be lectures and workshops on the rights of discharged soldiers, trips abroad, proper financial management prior to discharge, and more.
In addition, a job and higher education fair will be held, during which discharged soldiers will be able to get an impression of and receive information about many places to continue their journey, and even receive job offers for discharged soldiers. Participating in the fair will be, among others, the Israel Police, Elbit, the Prime Minister's Office, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ben Gurion Airport, psychometric companies, the Employment Bureau, and many other places.
The "Yoda" Youth Center in the city will hold registration for personal counseling and guidance from the Foundation for the Guidance of Discharged Soldiers. The conference will take place from 10:00 to 13:00.
