The resurfacing work to upgrade the road on Emek Dotan is entering its third and final phase. From Sunday, January 26th at 09:00 until Thursday, January 30, 2025, at 19:00 Emek Dotan Street will be closed to traffic in the section between the Emek Dotan/Nahal Ga'aton intersection and the Emek Dotan/Yair Parag intersection (not including the intersection). During the work, traffic will not be permitted between this section and the intersecting streets – Nahal Taninim, Nahal Ga'aton.
Please note the change in traffic arrangements:
Those arriving at the Emek Dotan/Nahal Ga'aton intersection traveling east on Emek Dotan will be able to turn right onto Nahal Ga'aton Street or left towards the exit of Emek Dotan.
On Tuesday, January 27 the Nahal Ga'aton intersection will be closed to traffic from 09:00 to 12:00pm.
Entry and exit to the Ofek School parking lot across the Emek opposite the school entrance will be permitted only for the disabled and for faculty members from the northern entrance only (contrary to the current traffic direction). Dropping off and picking up students at the school entrance will be as usual, according to the hours written on the signage.
Parking in the parking bays is prohibited during the work. Vehicles parked in the bays will be towed to Heichal HaTarbut parking lot.
During the road resurfacing work, access to the parking lots of the buildings where the work will take place is not be permitted, and parking in the parking bays will not be allowed.
The work will continue throughout the day. The road will remain closed to traffic at night.
