The station's new building was donated by the Friends of MDA associations in Holland and Switzerland and is already in operation.

The first MDA station in Modiin was opened in 1998 and operates an ambulance and intensive care unit 24 hours a day, seven days a week in addition to a community intensive care unit. Hundreds of MDA's immediate response units also operate in the city of Modi'in.

Haim Bibas, Mayor of Modi'in Maccabim Reut and Chairman of the Federation of Local Authorities in Israel:
We have reached the moment we have all been waiting for for a long time - the inauguration of the Magen David Adom station in its new location on Emek HaElah Street in Modiin Maccabim Reut.

MDA has been one of the most important organizations in the State of Israel since its founding.
We all see the work of the organization's employees and volunteers in routine and emergency situations, and especially in the 'Iron Swords' war, and it is appropriate that this organization, and for the 1,200 volunteers, residents of the city who work in it, should have a warm home in the city of Modi'in Maccabim Reut".

Sa'ar Shai, Director of MADA Eshkol Modi'in :
"This new building will serve the station's employees and volunteers for the benefit of the city's residents and will continue to facilitate the spirit of volunteering and saving lives, and providing medical care.

In the city of Modi'in there is even a community intensive care unit donated by the city's residents, with the help of which the residents receive the best treatment - this reveals the unique nature of the authorities and the community involvement that exists in the city."

Efi Ber, Director of MADA Ayalon region:
"The city of Modiin has been blessed with volunteers and employees who care about community resilience and the desire to contribute.
This new building will be a worthy place for the holy and important life-saving work done by the volunteers and employees of the Modi'in station, which has outgrown its old station”.

Eli Bin, CEO of MDA:
"Thanks to special people from the Netherlands and Switzerland, Jews and non-Jews who have contributed to strengthen the issue of saving lives in the State of Israel, and with an emphasis on the city of Modi'in Maccabim Reut. Mayor Bibas, you know that the station is one of the most beautiful stations we have.
It's not for nothing that you have about 1200 high-quality volunteers in the city itself and its surroundings.”
