This morning, 17.2.24, we received the difficult and sad news of the death of Major (res.) Moshiko (Maxim) Rozenwald z"l, commander of an engineering company in the 7107th Battalion, Nahal Brigade, in Gaza.
Moshiko was a native of the city and a graduate of Ironi Alef high school, a fighter, commander and family man, who only recently moved to live with his wife and young child in the city of Yavne.
Mayor Haim Bibas: "Personally, and on behalf of the residents of Modi'in Maccabim Reut, I extend my sincere condolences to the Rozenwald family, to parents Elizabeth and Arie and brothers Alex and Tali, residents of the city".
Moshiko will be laid to rest today at 15:30 in the military section of the city cemetery.
