The Social Services Division provides a wide range of welfare, absorption, health and numerous other programs for city residents. In addition, the Division develops new solutions tailored to the needs of the population, along with improvement and refinement of existing services.
The Division's services include diagnosis, treatment, support, detection, prevention, protection and rehabilitation provided in a variety of ways of intervention and various practices, and through the development of specific services and therapeutic frameworks.
The division focuses on accompanying families and individuals in the fields of parent-child communication, financial hardship, divorce, addictions, loss, and more. The rehabilitation unit assists and provides professional guidance to people with special needs and their families. The Senior Citizens Care Section provides care, counseling and guidance services to the elderly population and their families in resolving issues arising from old age crises, illness, widowhood, income decline and more.
