The work to resurface the roads on Tse'elon and Klil Horesh streets has been completed, as part of the municipal project to improve and upgrade infrastructure in the older neighborhoods. Soon, work will begin on Hartzit Street in the Prachim neighborhood.
The work was carried out by the Public Works Department and included accessibility work such as lowering sidewalks in front of crosswalks, as well as scrubbing, paving and leveling the roads. The work was carried out around the clock within a few days, to make it as easy as possible for the residents.
This is part of a large-scale urban project that was launched about a month ago, to improve and upgrade infrastructure in the older neighborhoods.
From 24-29th November, Hartzit Street will be upgraded:
From Sunday, 24 Nov at 09:00 until Tuesday, 26 Nov at 09:00 the street will be closed to traffic in the section between Kikar Dam HaMaccabim and Kikar Kahlit Ha-Harim/Dafna. Marve Street will become a two-way street without any exit, and entrance will be from Tse'elon Street.
From Tuesday 26 Nov at 09:00 until Thursday 28.11.24 09:00 the street will be closed in the section between Kahlit Ha-Harim Square/Dafna to the Emek Ayalon intersection. Satvanit and Netz Halav will become dead-end streets with entrance from Kahlit Ha-Harim Street.
Shushan Tzahor, Loa Ha’ari and Kipudan will become dead end streets with entrance only from Kahlit Ha-Harim Street. Helmonit and Dvoranit streets will be blocked on the side of Hartzit Street.
From Thursday 28.11.24 at 09:00 until Friday 29.11.24 at 09:00, Hartzit Circle/Kahlit Ha-Harim/Dafna will be closed to traffic from all directions. Hartzit, Kahlit Ha-Harim and Dafna streets will be dead ends on the side of the circle.
During the work, it will be possible to park in the caravan park, Marva Street, Admonit Street and in the public parking lot in front of the city hall.
Please note that parking in the parking bays is prohibited and access to the building parking lots will not be allowed during the work. The work will be carried out around the clock.
